Our Facilities

Our high-tech campus facilities at 6030 South Ellis Avenue facilitate polished productions and share UChicago expertise internationally, instantaneously, and professionally.

TV Studio and Sound Booth

The University of Chicago TV Studio is available 24/7 for faculty to appear live on television programs around the world.

The state-of-the-art, sound-proof studio, located on the lower level of Edelstone Center, 6030 South Ellis Avenue, includes an 80-inch LED screen for backgrounds and a green room where faculty can relax and prepare for appearances.

In addition to being used for live appearances, the studio is also available for recording interviews and for media training (highly recommended for faculty new to TV).

The University of Chicago Sound Booth is available for live or pre-recorded radio interviews. The sound booth is also available for voice-over recording and media training.
