Clouds Over Lake Michigan Video
When renowned sculptor and ceramicist Ruth Duckworth’s “Clouds Over Lake Michigan” mural was going to be moved from a bank lobby in downtown Chicago to campus, UChicago Creative captured the historic event. In this video, you’ll see all 65 ceramic tiles come together to form Duckworth’s masterpiece mural, now on permanent display at UChicago’s Joseph Regenstein Library.
The video also told Ruth’s story, utilizing archive materials, including old interviews with the artist, to add depth and a personal touch to the final video.
